About ComfortZone

Comfortzone was launched many years ago by a group of Select Guest Houses in the Durban North Area to obtain synergy in the utilisation of the groups individual strengths. An example of this was in the area of marketing, where it would be costly for one Guest house to advertise in say a particular medium whereas the cost would be far more acceptable when divided between the group and marketed as a group. Another area would be buying power, where certain suppliers would only take large orders at discounted prices and an individual guest house would not be able to warrant such a purchase, whereas a group could produce the mass necessary to obtain the order and as such enjoy a discounted price. From this network, one could share guests, target larger groups of potential guests and talk to Corporations who would see a credible operation rather than a small bed and breakfast operation.

For various reasons the Group broke up and today operate on a more informal basis than originally set up. Thanks to the Internet and the technologies of today, Comfortzone now is now able to expand its operation and involve any number of hospitalty accommodation establishments from local to around the world.
